Vintage Polymorphic Zig-Zag Table Lamp By Shui L.D. "Dennis" Chan, 1980's

Designed by Shui L.D. “Dennis” Chan in 1984, a unique industrial design table lamp with moving parts capable of making it take many forms and shapes. It has been manufactured by many companies worldwide, such as Massive(Belgium), Z-lite(UK), Brilliant leuchten(Germany), Optelma(Switzerland), New Horizons(Hong Kong). It consists of a black plastic base with a red triangular switch and black plastic moving parts, 8 segrements which can all be turned separately. The zig-zag lamp can take up to 18 different positions. Creations of Shui L.D. “Dennis” Chan can be found at both MOMA (New York) and the Museum Store at the Louvre. One of Hong Kong’s most famous industrial designers, also owner of Kering Qeelin.
